About me
Hi there! My name is Facundo Torres, I was born in Buenos Aires (Arg) in 1989. I am a visual artist, musician, and lawyer. My artistic training is eclectic; although I am primarily self-taught, I study and draw from the techniques of classical drawing and painting academies.
Art is the way I communicate what I cannot put into words, the space that heals what I didn’t know was damaged, and the path of learning toward what I only intuit.
It carries a magical, inexplicable, and random nature, or perhaps it belongs to an order whose essence eludes me. Yet, I can grasp something of it, if only through its implications within me.
I know that all the elements that comprise it make it fascinating and, through complicit veils, falsely suggest the purpose of ultimate fulfillment.
Presentation and Biography
My work is currently part of private collections and state institutions, having been exhibited ten times over the past two years by government organizations, such as the Cabildo Histórico de Córdoba.
In clear recognition from specialized critics, my recent exhibitions have served as venues for masterclasses by university professors from the National University of Córdoba, such as the one delivered by Marcelo Nusenovich, who holds a degree in Sociosemiotics and a PhD in Arts. He has also acquired one of my pieces for his personal collection.
